THE BIG FIX

Vikas Singh’s Debut novel- ‘THE BIX FIX’ dealing with the Cricket passion and fixing- is a far too simpler but a well paced novel. It draws on Pakistan Coach who dies and the matches that are supposed to be tainted to the film Star that owns the team in ICT- T20 carnival.

THE BIG FIX

THE BIG FIX

As usual you are pushed toward raising questions with ample suspects and on top suspicion on the very person who seams above all these things. And yet- the reader feel cheated when the whole mystery is solved in a very Indian Filmi way- the villain going to lengths to justify his actions waiting for the police to arrive.

Suggestion of force- blackmail- honey trap and all such masala is there yet it’s not something that shouts to be appreciated. It’s nowhere close to be a recommended book in my leat- though you have ASHWIN SANHI and BORIA MAJUMDAR quoted on covers appreciating the book. Maybe they are right- but if you ask me – AVOID.
