AISLE BE DAMMED

I don’t know how I pick the right book for the occasion. These cannot be coincidences but I will leave it at that. I ordered this at FLIPKART and it landed a day before I was to fly out to Vietnam for ADASIA 2013. It made a hell of humour laced reading and the impact was higher as the Malaysian Airlines cancelled their Delhi-KL-Hanoi flight on which most of my team was scheduled to fly. This time- another team mate got upgraded to Business class and few on the returning trip missed their flight. So much for FLYING.

Aisle be dammed- is a simple and at times very basic humorous take on FLYING- starting from reaching the airport to landing. Read it and you would enjoy and appreciate your flying experiences.

HONEST CONFESSION. When I picked this book. The cover seemed like it was another of the Indian author love story. ‘swaying hips, praying lips and flying tips’  along with the picture of the back of a Air-hostess was misguiding. –

AISLE BE DAMMEDThere are many a learning’s in the book delivered with a straight pen- but I would not really recommend you trying them for an upgrade- free ticket- extra travel or even monitoring the pilot expertise.

The best chapter is the section where Rishi shares a lot of anecdotal episodes of drunken passengers and pilots.

AFTER AFFECT OF READING this is interesting. In my own way every element of my flight experience is currently are seen from the eyes of Mr Rishi Pipparaiya writings. And I am able to see the lighter side of the whole experience.
