28th Episode I was reading the new book ADULTERY by PAULO COELHO book (to read review click here) when I remembered the incident. What happened that December in the hill station was between two consenting adults. They are well known to me. For the purpose of not disturbing their lives, I have not listed the name of the agency or location of the event.
They were on an official assignment. She was his junior. Out in the beautiful hills. They were staying in a 5 star property. They did not have much to do with the event other than to ensure that they did not meet rest of the team immediately after the event. The creative team was busy doing the recce. They from Client servicing were free. Their role would come later when a call on ‘will the client object or can we do this’ would come in.
It was cold. The mist seems to be rising from the valley and slowly invading the space near their hotel. It would soon engulf the hotel. The air has romance written all over it. Though they were Senior – Junior, the age difference was not much. She was new to the agency and unmarried. More importantly she was much in awe of her happily married senior.
The afternoon went by smoothly. The evening came sooner than they expected. And with fog around, in spite of the team with them, the feeling of loneliness overpowered. The guy was a bit of freak and adventurous in nature, she just a lamb following him. He decided to go for a walk. In his words to follow the road curling like a snake around the hill.
He had heard that at one special bend from where you get a beautiful view of the town and the valley below. She knew it was a stupid idea. There was no way any view was possible in the dense fog. Yet, something pulled her. She followed uninvited.
Initially, it seemed there were two different people walking by themselves. He realized she was following and waited her to join. They were now walking together. The walk was a long one. Monologues and dialogues at time filled the void to keep them connected. Words had no use but were faithfully doing their duty to bridge the distance.
They stopped at the bend and saw the view. In spite of a thick fog, they could see few twinkling and could just imagine how grand the view could be. He was sitting in the culvert with his back to the valley. She was standing in front of him, facing him and the valley. She was close and he could smell her. If she was to come a few inches more, he could have felt her.
Suddenly she stopped and looked at him. He looked up. Something happened in that moment and he felt her wet lip. As if he was waiting for this moment, as if all the rest was just a façade, he reciprocated. Don’t know if the kiss was long or short, but it was long enough for his hands to travel and feel her. She allowed him and cooperated by shifting a little, so that he could get a bit more of her. She was pressuring her body. She could feel his manhood. For a moment both of them were just living the moment.
They felt rather than saw a light bean piercing the dense fog. A car was taking the bend and soon would be on them. The trance was broken. Suddenly he realized that what he was doing was forbidden. At the same time she knew that this was unaccepted. She fumbled to close her buttons and turn away from him. The car soon passed them.
They walked back to the hotel fighting their inner voices. Loud doubts raised within. The moment of pleasure and if you insist sin has passed. Neither were feeling guilty nor they want to talk. All you could hear was complete silence.
